Scott Edward Naugle
The sun rose on December 1st 1949 and the sun set on February 3rd 2024.
Scott was born to Ernest and Martha Naugle of Erie, Pennsylvania. Scott served in the United States Army during Vietnam War from 1967-1969. Receiving many awards, it was his honor to serve his country. Upon his completion of military service, he took a job working for the United States Government, where he worked and served his country for another 15 years. After retiring from the Government he worked in the automotive industry, later opening and operating businesses in the food industry. He then moved to Kentucky where he met and fell in love with his wife Vicki, together they worked and lived on their farm in Webbville, Kentucky.
Scott is proceeded in death by his parents; mother and father in law, Lafe and Evadean Marcum; a sister in law Barbara Marcum; brother in laws, David Marcum, and Tom Ellis.
Scott is survived by his wife Vicki of 16 years, a sister Judy (Wally) Erie, Pennsylvania. His children Dominic (Sheri) of Morehead City, North Carolina, Kim (Rob) of Phoenix, Arizona, Kyle (Chelsea) of Richmond, Kentucky, Keegan (Jenna) of Winchester, Kentucky, Kaylee of Richmond, Kentucky, Barrett (Ashley) of Crum, West Virginia, Brittany (Jerry) of Paintsville, Kentucky and Shelby (Billy) of Olive Hill, KY. Scott was honored and loved and adored all of his grandchildren, whether he was “Scooter, Popaw, Pop-Pop, or Grandpa Scott” He was so proud of every one of them. Shandie (Kylor) Cash, Sophia, Tucker, Gavin, Emmalyn, Harper, Harrison, Victoria, Anslee, Alora, Natalie, Jayden, Elizabeth, Delaney and another grandchild on the way. Great grandfather to Gibson, Monroe, and Ramsey. Scott also loved his closest friends Jeff Race, Ken Huff, and his special friends Henry Charlie, Daryl and Dalena, Rick and Brenda, and Lloyd.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ken Huff and Minister Lafe Marcum officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Naugle Farms. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
