The Farmer & The Foodie, the KET cooking program in which hosts Maggie Keith and Lindsey McClave visit with Kentucky farmers to learn how their food is grown, returns this month with new episodes that savor the holiday season with an assortment of new recipes.
The new season, which premieres Saturday, Jan. 7, finds hosts Maggie Keith and Lindsey McClave learning about the benefits of draft animals and raw milk; visiting a pair of farms run by military veterans; harvesting and feeding sorghum through a 100-year-old mill; exploring Kentucky’s native fruit, the pawpaw; and rolling up their sleeves on a Henry County shrimp farm.
