Save money on 2026 licenses and permits

We want to let you know that you can save money on next season’s licenses and permits if you buy them now.

How can you save money?

Starting this month, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife is moving to a new way of setting license and permit prices. Instead of unpredictable (and likely larger) price jumps, prices will now change modestly every other January.

Because of this, prices are expected to go up by about 6 percent in the middle of January.

Learn more about how Kentucky will adjust license and permit prices.

However, you can buy your 2026–27 licenses and permits before the prices increase. If you want to save money, please act soon because this opportunity won’t last long.

Buy online, or visit your local license seller.
