1949 — April 6, 2026Rita Caperton, 77, of Ceredo, WV went home to be with the Lord April 6, 2026.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Toney Caperton; two daughters Paula Roop (Dean) and Danielle Riggs (Chris); one son Gary O’Dell (Missy); nine grandchildren Chasity Johnson (Jacob), Jacob O’Dell (Brandi), Lakyn Parsons (Andrew), Kadan McCoy (Kaleigh), Kerrigan, Krislyn, Taylor, Owen, and Jax; seven great grandchildren Levi, Madi, Bryce, Cash, Carrington, Cullen and Jameson; two brothers Max Jj. “Boog” and Danny Frazier (Diana); two sisters Tennie Sue Fraley and Jenny Lou Rose (Joe); brother in law Mark Caperton (Angie); a very special sister in law Donna Frazier; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Max and Edith Frazier; brothers Billy, Charles “NimRod”, James “Budget”, Jerry, Michael, and Ricky; and sisters Patty Marcum and Kathy Johnson.
She was retired from Pilgrim Glass as a Cameo Glass Artisan. She and her husband were avid campers who took their grandchildren camping all over the country. She was a Christian and she loved the Lord! She was loved by all her family and friends and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Doss Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
