The Lawrence County Quilt Guild is sponsoring a combination quilt show and craft bazaar on Friday and Saturday, November 4th and 5th, 2016. It will be held at the Lawrence County Extension Office between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM each day. Both Christmas and traditional items will be available for sale. Some of the quilts will be for sale and would make great Christmas gifts. In addition to the quilts, the bazaar will feature handcrafted items including sewn and crocheted items, hand painted items, candies, wreaths, candles, cards, and a variety of other crafts for sale.
The Lawrence County Quilt Guild “Quilted Treasures” embraces the idea that quilting is an important aspect of our heritage and should be promoted. The guild consists of members of all levels of experience from beginning to expert. All members agree there is always something new to learn in quilting and classes and demonstrations are held throughout the year. New members are always welcome and teaching the craft to new quilters is a priority objective.
The guild participates in many activities including the Heritage Harvest Tour, Lawrence County Farm and Field Day, and supports the Humane Society through various projects.Do you like handcrafted quilts?
