COACH’S COMMENTS
“…Not a very good first half but so proud of our effort in the second half. Went through some adversity in the first half, we had guys bickering at each other and complaining when they come off the floor and at halftime we had a little chat and they really responded. I told them to leave it out on the court and we wouldn’t have any complaints of the outcome.”
“… Sherman has a nice team, two good guards and a post that is pretty good as well. Dylan Dawson gave an unbelievable effort and our guys feed off of him. Our speed is the key we have to get deflections, turnovers and easy baskets.”
“… On the final shot I was going with Parker Watts or Colton Austin and when the ball went to Parker they kind of backed off and when they did I knew he was going to the basket and he put it in with that lazy finger roll that get on about everyday in practice for the game winner. After the game he let me know about it. I think he grew up a little tonight.”
“… Tough one on Tuesday at Tug Valley, we played well in the first half and kinda got took out of it in the third quarter by the referees, they were in the double bonus early and we couldn’t bounce back from that. Hopefully we get another shot at them on a neutral court.”
