Saturday evening will be highlighted with our Hometown “American” Idol Noah Thompson and closed out by the popular group “ The SteelDriver’s” bringing some of the best traditional music heard today.
Lawrence County Septemberfest 2023 , themed, “Celebrating Our Kentucky Roots” will once again be laced with local artist and traditional style music.
Friday night will be highlighted with traditional and Americana music led by acoustic show by Laurah Louisa followed by none other than Luna and the Mountain Jets. The show will continue with bluegrass and traditional powerhouses such as Iron Horse and the famous Town Mountain, hailing from Asheville, North Carolina.
The Saturday Bluegrass show will kickoff with the newly formed group On Solid Ground , featuring the son of Don Rigsby followed by the traditional “Stanley Sound” from Fenced In Bluegrass Band and closed out with the high energy Nashville recording group Appalachian Roadshow.
The Saturday night Main attractions will get kicked off with rising local artist Conner Dale and Rachel Messer followed by Laid Back Country Picker. The evening will be highlighted with our Hometown “American” Idol Noah Thompson and closed out by the popular group “ The SteelDriver’s” bringing some of the best traditional music heard today. The SteelDrivers have become one of the biggest names in progressive bluegrass after making their debut in 2005. The SteelDrivers have been nominated for four Grammys, the Americana Music Association’s New Artist of the Year and was IBMA’s 2009 Emerging Artist of The Year. In 2015, “The Muscle Shoals Recordings” won the Grammy award for Best Bluegrass Recording.

So glad Noah Thompson will be back for the 2023 Septemberfest. Looking forward to seeing the Steel Drivers also.
Glad Noah will be there.But Tyler Childers will draw a bigger croud on Saturday night then Noah. Last year Noahs crowd was over five thousand and Tylers crowd was over fifteen thousand. Just saying Tyler should be there too!!!
