Well, 2020 was something to remember to say the least, and the start of 2021 has been rough for everyone, but we’re hoping this May we can start to get some normalcy back into everyone’s life in the way of safe live music. 2020 hindered the initial plan like most everyone elses. But,we’re hoping to make up for it from here on out.
We have planned, a small 2 evening event on the weekend on May21-22. We plan on having a 3 band set each evening. One (limited number) ticket will cover both evenings. The plan is to start the music as the sun is going down(8pm) to avoid the heat.
First and foremost this will be an enforced socially distanced, outside event. If you feel the need to not comply and or make a scene, please dont waste anyone’s time by participating. There will be a limited number of tickets available to make sure everyone has enough room to feel comfortable in the space provided.
There will be tent camping available to all that desire to stay for $15 for the weekend. This event is on a campground with no shower house, so plan accordingly. All tents and vehicles will be spaced out for everyone’s safety. All those not camping, will park separately from the campers for $3 a day.
This event is located within 10 min of Yatesville lake where there is boat rentals, and a very well known golf course. There will also be Kayak rentals available on site to use in the creek that borders the property.
Also the Fallsburg Fearplex 3D room will be available to go through during this event.
This will be a 21 and over event. There is no cellphone service with AT&T and limited with Verizon. There will be wifi available for purchase through Foothills communications. There is a country store and Dollar General within .5 from this event. No alcohol is sold at either but is available in Louisa which is 10 minutes away. No alcohol will be available for sale on the property, so make sure you bring your own and drink responsibly. There will be security on site to assist.
Our lineup will be released within the next couple of weeks. But, you may want to mark it down in your calendar now. This isnt one to sleep on.
We will continue to update as the days go on so not to keep you hanging on too long.
Please, everyone respect everyone elses space, and comfort zones during this event, NO exceptions! If you are up and out of your seat, throw a mask on and be respectful as you walk to your next destination. Once you reach said destination, and are away from everyone else, or with your group, and or people, you may remove it.
“21 and over event”. Just what our community needs. Be sure to bring your own alcohol!
Sounds exciting! Great way to kick-off summer!
If you don’t approve don’t go. Sounds like fun.
A weekend in Fallsburg never sounded “like fun”, no matter how much drinking and drugs you do.
