COACH’S COMMENTS
“.. It’s been a good week for us. We had a really good game against Boyd County that we led for a good part of the time. Shelby Valley was a good region win that allowed a lot of solid playing minutes for some of our younger players.”
“… The real focus for the week had always been Pikeville. They were 5-2 and had some great results against tough teams this season like a tie with Powell County, who made it to the elite 8 last season.”
“… I felt like we really played well from the first whistle. Our boys communicated well, passed the ball around effectively and defended with a lot of discipline. Offensively, Aiden was able to get through their back line several times to give us a comfortable lead.”
