LC Schools is delighted to share that Mrs. Angel Ward has been appointed as the new principal of Fallsburg Elementary School!

Mrs. Ward shared her enthusiasm and gratitude for this opportunity. “I am deeply honored and humbled to be selected as the next principal of Fallsburg Elementary School. Having been part of this incredible school and community for more than 20 years, I find this opportunity both professionally and personally meaningful. Fallsburg has a strong tradition of excellence, caring relationships, and commitment to students. As principal, I look forward to working alongside our students, staff, families, and community partners to build on those strengths while identifying new opportunities for growth and student-centered success.

“I am sincerely grateful to Mrs. Webb and the Site-Based Decision-Making Council for their confidence in me as the next leader of Fallsburg. I am excited to serve the Fallsburg community in this new role and remain committed to ensuring every student feels valued, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. As always, Proud to be a Dragon!

“My husband, Ryan, and I have been proud members of the Fallsburg community for the past 23 years. Together we have three sons. Connor is a junior at Marshall University, where he is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Our middle son, Cain, is a senior at Lawrence County High School, and our youngest son, Collin, is a sixth-grade student at Fallsburg Elementary. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places as a family, but we are always happy to come home to Fallsburg!”
