Louisa City Government

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day Weekend, let us never forget the true meaning of this holiday. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and the freedoms we enjoy every day.
On behalf of the City of Louisa, we extend our deepest gratitude to the fallen heroes and to the military families who continue to carry their memory forward with pride and sacrifice.
As you enjoy the weekend festivities, please take a moment to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
From all of us at the City of Louisa, we wish everyone a safe, meaningful, and blessed Memorial Day Weekend.
— Mayor Harold Slone
