SHERRY ANN HORN-GORDON, 48, OF INEZ, KENTUCKY; SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON AFTER GUILTY PLEA INVOLVING A LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY., DRUG TRAFFICKING CASE THAT WAS THE RESULT OF A TRAFFIC STOP INVESTIGATION BY KENTUCKY STATE POLICE
A Martin County, Kentucky woman has been sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court to five years in prison following a drug trafficking investigation that began with a traffic stop in Louisa by Kentucky State Police in Lawrence County.
According to the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 24th Judicial Circuit, Sherry Ann Horn-Gordon, 48, of Debord, KY., was sentenced on Thursday, June 25.
KSP Troopers reported finding suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and more than $9,400 in cash during the investigation. KSP authorities said evidence recovered from a cell phone indicated narcotics trafficking, and laboratory testing later confirmed the substances included cocaine and methamphetamine.
The case was investigated by the Kentucky State Police Post 14 in Ashland.
