William Donald Delong, 22, of Warfield, KY., was arrested on November 2 at Dempsey Housing Complex for: *POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. Special Deputy John C. Kirk responded to a report of a car involved in a hit-and-run on North Wolf Creek Road. The deputy later received information that the vehicle had been spotted at Dempsey Apartments. When he arrived at the apartment to speak with William Delong, he detected the odor of marijuana. According to the police arrest report, William Delong admitted to possessing marijuana.
Jamie Jude, 52, of Inez, KY., was arrested on November 4, on Rockcastle Creek Road in Inez for: *SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, *OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, *FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE. Martin County Sheriff John H. Kirk observed Jude operating a vehicle, knowing he did not have a valid driver’s license. Martin County Sheriff Office Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
Jodie Jude, 30, of Inez, KY., was arrested November 4, on Gordon Maynard Road on a bench warrant. Martin County Sheriff Office Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
Danny Ray Mollett, 46, of Tomahawk, KY., was arrested November 6 on Trace Fork for *PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), after allegedly wandering into the road while under the influence.
Martin County Sheriff John H. Kirk responded to reports of an impaired man in the roadway and found Danny Mollett at a nearby residence where the homeowner asked for his removal.
Danny Mollett appeared “very hyper,” admitting he had taken suboxone, according to Sheriff Kirk.
Police records show Danny Mollett had filled a 14-dose suboxone prescription just two days earlier, but only three pills remained. Danny Mollett allegedly told the sheriff he had been taking more than the prescribed dose.
George English, 53, of Warfield, KY. was arrested November 6 at Groundhog Hollow, Warfield, for: *PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), *SETTING FIRE ON OWN LAND WITHOUT TAKING PRECAUTIONS,*POSSESSION A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, *PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPERER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.
Martin County Sheriff John. H. Kirk arrested English after the suspect set a fire on his land and let it get out of control. Sheriff Kirk stated there was a countywide burn ban at the time.
When law enforcement arrived George English had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet, stating he had taken suboxone, Sheriff Kirk said. George English had 10 naloxone in a baggie in his pocket but could not produce a valid prescription.

Brian Michael Dean, 48, of Stambaugh, KY., was arrested November 6 on North Milo, Tomahawk, for: *RECKLESS DRIVING, and *OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/SUBSTANCE (189A.010(1E) – 1ST OFFENSE. Martin County Sheriff John H. Kirk reported that Brian Dean was halfway across the yellow line in his vehicle creating a danger to other motorists. Sheriff Kirk reported a strong odor of marijuana and noted Brian Dean’s failure to complete a sobriety test or follow instructions. Brian Dean allegedly admitted to smoking THC earlier but refused a blood test.
George Alan Dalton, 27, of Tomahawk, KY., and Sinead Allyn McGinnis, 33, of Inez, KY., were arrested on November 7 for: public intoxication-controlled substance after a single-car accident on Route 40 in Beauty.
When Martin County Sheriff Office Special Deputy John C. Kirk arrived, George Dalton and Sinead McGinnis were standing outside a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire. Kirk could not establish who had been driving. The deputy noted that both were visibly impaired, with slurred speech and unsteady footing, and neither could complete a sobriety test.

Martin County Sheriff John H. Kirk arrested Barbara Gordon after pulling her over for expired tags and drifting over the centerline. Sheriff Kirk reported that during the stop, Barbara Gordon retrieved marijuana and methamphetamine from her purse.
Edward Lynn Moore, 65, of Inez, KY., was taken into custody on November 7, by the Martin County Sheriff Office, to serve a guilty plea sentence, “weekender”: CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER
William Earl Moore, 52, of Louisa, KY., was arrested November 7 on Court Street, Inez, on a bench warrant from Lawrence County Circuit Court. Martin County Sheriff Office deputy Dennis Hall served the warrant.
Justin Fletcher, 35, of Pippa Passes, KY., was arrested on November 8, on KY-40 in Tomahawk for: *DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE, *PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.
Martin County Sheriff Office Chief Deputy Chris Kidd reported that Justin Fletcher was involved in a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Family Foods in Tomahawk. While investigating, deputy Kidd determined that Justin Fletcher’s license had been DUI-suspended. The police arrest report states the suspect had a suboxone strip in his pocket not in a proper container.
Cassandra Booth, 30, of Warfield, KY., was arrested on November 9, on Route 292 for OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL .08 (189A.010(1A) – 1ST OFFENSE. According to Martin County Sheriff John H. Kirk, Cassandra Booth crossed the double yellow line into the other lane multiple times while driving on Route 292, and failed the sobriety test.
