New Traffic patterns for Septemberfest
Every year there is a lot of traffic congestion on Vinson Street which runs behind the old court house.
This year we plan to try something new to see if it helps with the flow of traffic and make it safer for pedestrians.
Vinson Street will be one way starting at the intersection of Madison Street, next to Riverview, all the way through to the corner of Pike and Main Cross next to Kelly Brothers Furniture.
Also Lock Avenue from the fire department too Madison Street will be for pedestrian traffic and emergency vehicles only.
All detour traffic from Lock Avenue will be using Lady Washington Street which would still give you access to areas and residences. Attached is a map showing the new pattern.
