The Louisa Rotary Club hosted an economic development event on October 9th. A panel of six community leaders answered questions about Lawrence county’s greatest assets, best areas of the county for development and businesses they would like to see locate here.

Club members felt optimistic about the event and have plans to continue talks about promoting economic development in Lawrence County. The LCHS media class video taped the event for the Rotary Club.

Mountain Movers Theatre Company previews ‘Beetlejuice’ for Louisa Rotary

Several team members from the Mountain Movers Theatre Company were guests of the Louisa Rotary Club at a recent meeting.   They updated us on the theater and talked about the upcoming show Beetlejuice.  We are so fortunate to have this theater in our city to provide quality entertainment.  This team’s enthusiasm and love of the arts is very evident as they share their story.
