By Susie Chambers

The Lawrence County Lady Dawgs Softball Team and coaches were the special guests for our Louisa Rotary Club meeting on August 7th. Head coach Sam Sparks introduced each player and told a little about their year on the softball field.

This group of girls made it to the final four of the state tournament and the coach couldn’t have been more proud. They were the first softball team in the school history to achieve this accomplishment. Sam expressed how well this group of girls represent our county on and off the field. Louisa Rotary Club is also so very proud of their achievements.

Sam expressed how well this group of girls represent our county on and off the field while accepting the proclamation from Louisa Mayor Harold Slone.
