July 16, 2020 – PHONE SCAM ALERT – It has come to our attention that some phone scammers are calling residence in and around Louisa using the police departments phone number 606-638-4058. Most of these callers have had foreign accents and possibly from overseas. If you receive such a call and want to verify it is the Louisa Police Department calling just ask the person to speak to myself, Chief Greg Fugitt, personally.
