Inez, Ky. — Louisa middle wins the Boys soccer District Championship over Johnson Central on penalty kicks last week.

Gunnar Donahoe, Issac Maynard, Elijah Wellman, Cash Curnutte, Tucker Smith, Kai Johnson, Weston Moore, Bryant Stepp, Dawson Kitts, Cole Hutton, Korbin Brown, Levi Hensley, Maddox Webb, Fleming Bentley, Jeffery Messer, Corbin Lee, Preston Ward, Blake Prince, Branson Proctor, Riley Maynard, Trey Keeton, Grady Cline, Christian Smith, Wyatt Haney, Sawyer Vinson, Aiden Runyon

Coaches Scott Johnson and Matt Maynard 

The Bulldogs improved to 6-3-1 with the victory over Johnson Central. 

Louisa beat Adams Middle to make it to the District championships and then went 2 overtimes and won it on penalty kicks 4-3 over the Golden Eagles. 

Korbin Brown had the shutout in goal for the Dawgs. 

Isaac Maynard, Korbin Brown, and Bryant Stepp made the OVC all region team this season. 

The Bulldogs received a first round bye in the region tournament and will play the winner of Rowan Co. and Greenup Co. on Thursday at East Carter.

“… The team has played really well lately and has shown a lot of growth throughout the season.  I feel very good about where we are now as we head into the OVC regional tournament at East Carter.”
