Louisa Middle beats Lewis County in Girls basketball action

Louisa, Ky. — The Louisa middle Girls basketball team improved to 10-14 after a victory on Monday night over Lewis County.

Louisa 34 Lewis Co. 20 

Gracie Woods led the Dawgs with 15 points, Leah Muncy chipped in with 9 points, Madison Hughes added 4 points, Cheyann Evans had 3 points, Madalyn Blankenship had 2 points and Emma Castle rounded out the scoring with 1 point. 

The Bulldogs will return to action on Thursday with a trip to Fairview. And then play in a tournament on Saturday at Mullins in Pike County.

“… Good win over Lewis County. Our 8th graders are doing a great job leading our young team of 6th graders. We are coming along and getting better each game. Tough stretch coming up for us.”
