Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that the suspects were arrested in Ohio, Kentucky, and WV for warrants issued by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit during two separate investigations in Ceredo and in the Kenova area.
Sheriff Thompson stated that Monday, Samuel Butler was arrested in an abandoned house on West Rd by Sunshine Baptist Church. While making entry to the dilapidated structure, a US Marshal Task Force Officer ran a nail through his foot. The officer was taken to Cabell Huntington Urgent Care where he was treated and back on the job in 15 minutes.
The US Marshals CUFFED Task Force went on to arrest Charles Ryland at a motel in Louisa KY and Richard Cremeans in Chesapeake OH. Charles Ryland is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver (Crystal Methamphetamine), Pseudoephedrine Altered, and Conspiracy.
Today, (Friday) the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force arrested Sydney (Doug) Ryland, of Louisa, Ky. in Huntington WV. He is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Pseudoephedrine Altered, and Conspiracy.
