COACH’S COMMENTS
“… This is the best start in program history. We are playing well and having fun. Our team suffered a significant injury to Grace Blevins during the 2A tournament, but we have been fortunate to have young players, Aryn Huffman/Brylee Stafford, step up and take on big roles. Emma Collins is also coming off of an injury and we look forward to her getting back on the court.”
“… If we can be more disciplined in a few areas and patient at the net, the second half of our season will be phenomenal. The consistency we are seeing with Ally Huffman, Sophie Adkins, Sara Shannon, and Riley McClanahan is helping us tremendously. Kenzley Brooks has been amazing for us with her serves the past few games and we need that to continue as we head into Floyd Central tomorrow.”
“… This team has the competitiveness in them with a desire to win every game and I love that. We are quick to make adjustments mid-game and as we move forward with a challenging second half of our season, we want to continue performing at a high level and setting the pace of the game.”
