LOUISA, Ky. — On February 25, 2023 officers with The Louisa Police Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, and Lawrence County Constables executed a search warrant at 11 Ginger Street in reference to a drug trafficking investigation.
During the search a total of approximately 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine was seized along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking and usage.
Officers arrested three people from the residence charging them with the following:

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS
PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I
Joseph L. Berry
TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFF – (> OR = 2 GMS METHAMPHETAMINE)
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS
Also arrested for an active indictment warrant for
POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)

All subjects were taken to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Case remains under investigation by Officer Teddy Newsome.
