PLAYER’S COMMENTS
“… What first attracted me to Thomas More was the head volleyball coach messaging me in January. She made the college sound amazing, and a program I wanted to be a part of. I wanted to set up a college tour immediately after, just to see if I liked the college. Once I got on campus I knew it was the perfect fit for me. I have loved to play this sport since I started ,and doing it in college was my goal. Talking to the coach and hearing about her team was when I knew I wanted to take part in this program.”
“… My three seasons at Lawrence County Volleyball have been some of the best. I have learned new skills and developed into a leadership role for the team. LC has made me grow
closer bonds to the girls on the team that I also play with on my club team. I will forever cherish my
journey and memories I have had on this team and who I have crossed paths with along the way. Overall my high school team has helped mold me into the player I am today.”
“ Throughout my recruiting process I have looked into a few schools. At one point I was deciding between two colleges that I had previously toured, but both did not check all the boxes. When I toured Thomas More they checked the boxes and more, so I knew that was the right choice for me. Their offers were ones I simply could not pass up.”
“… I would like to thank all of the coaches I have ever had because they have all helped me reach my
goal. Whether it is high school volleyball or club season volleyball all of my coaches have put endless amounts of effort and time into me and I cannot thank them enough for everything. Next, I want to thank my parents for pushing me to always give it my all and always going above and beyond for me. Their support has been the best throughout this whole exciting process! I would also like to thank all my teammates for making the game enjoyable and being my friends off the court. Lastly, want to thank all of my coaches Jamie Shannon, Autumn Blevins and Kayla Vanhoose.”
