LAWRENCE CO. BOYS SEND OFF TO STATE!

Lawrence County High School principal Wrendi McDavid issued a call this morning to local community members and leaders to help send the Bulldogs to only its second appearance in county history at the Boys State Basketball Tournament at Rupp Arena beginning on Wednesday.

Historically, the state tourney is held the next week after the regionals but a scheduling change had the tourney winners waiting two weeks for their chance at the big dance in 2025. Now its time to rebuild the momentum the team sparked beating favored Martin County in the 15th region finals, the principal messaged.
