Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. Baseball added nine new members into their Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in the school’s cafeteria Saturday evening.

#7 Kyle Barnette- class of 2004 1B
♦ Kyle was a 5 year starter for LCHS 2000-2004
♦ He was 3-time all area selection (2002, 2003, 2004)
♦ Kyle was a 1 year lettermen at Centre College on the diamond as well as a 4 year lettermen in football
♦ His class is very well decorated joining Eric Parker and Chris Pope in our HOF
o Winning 2 – 64th district championships
o 1- 16th region championship
o 1- state tournament appearance
o Won over 100 games during career span

#12 TJ “Rooster” Caudill- class of 2001 OF
♦ TJ’s 2001 class won 93 games during his career including 2 region runner- up teams and a then school record 31 wins during his senior campaign-
♦ he was 2 time 64 district all tournament team
♦ 2 time 16th region all tournament team
♦ 2 time Ashland Daily all-area selection
♦ 2 time WV-KY first team all-conference
♦ TJ played 4 years for the Huntington Patriots/Hounds organization
♦ He was awarded 2000 Governors scholarship
♦ TJ currently practices as an advanced registered nurse practitioner and is involved in our middle school program as well as serving as president of the Cal Ripken league

#3 Taud Compton- class of 1999 C
♦ Taud was a 4 year starter for LCHS- playing 2B in 1996 and was the catcher for the rest of his career
o At 5’7” and 155lbs he was certainly undersized for the position- but his size doesn’t even begin to tell the story- one of the toughest most fierce competitors I’ve ever been around
♦ Made the 1999 16th region tourney all tourney team
o Hit a grand slam in the semi-finals and another HR in the championship game
♦ The game of baseball has been one of the cornerstones in his life- and is still in his heart to this day
♦ Annual participant in the alumni game and still plays with a great passion

#11 Jeff Curnutte- class of 1995 P
♦ Jeff was a huge piece for the 1995 Region championship team- the 2nd in school history
o The tandem of Jeff and fellow HOF- Todd Wilson proved too much for the rest of the 16th Region
♦ During his career he garnered several individual accolades including- 1994 all-district honors, 1994 all-region honors, 1995 all-region honors, 1995 sectional tourney all tourney, 1995 all-area team
♦ After high school- he moved to Lexington and worked at Toyota before moving back home in 2012- currently working at Marathon….Jeff is also actively involved in our local Cal Ripken League

#22 Jordan Miller- class of 2010 C
♦ Jordan’s class of 2010 won 108 games- 2 district championships/ 2 region championships/ 2 state tournament appearances- including state runner-up in 08
♦ Jordan was a Varsity starter for 5 years- starting every position except SS, CF, and P
♦ He was the 2008 regional tournament MVP
♦ 2010 Senior East/West All-star
o Went on to play at Alice Lloyd College
♦ 2013 graduate from ACTC
♦ Has served as an assistant coach at LCHS for the football and baseball program

#23 Paul Miller- class of 1988 SS and P
♦ Paul played Football, Basketball and Baseball at LCHS during his career
♦ He hit 10 HRs during his senior year
♦ Was a member of the 1986 region championship team (1st in school history)
♦ Played summer ball for Catlettsburg Post 224- won state championship in 1988
♦ Went on to play at Gulf Coast College in Panama City, FL for 1 year
♦ Transferred to WV State and played for legendary Cal Bailey for 3 more years
♦ 1993 voted 1st team WVIAC record of 6-1 and a 1.16 ERA/ signed to play for the Explorers in the Frontier League from 1993-1995
♦ Paul has coached basketball at various levels and schools in the area for the past several years and is currently the head coach for the Greenup County Lady Musketeers

#6 Shane Pack- class of 2010 OF
♦ Shane’s class of 2010 won 108 games- 2 district championships/ 2 region championships/ 2 state tournament appearances- including state runner-up in 08
♦ One of the most fierce hitters to ever come through LCHS- when he was taking batting practice the “sound” was just different
♦ After HS, Shane went on to an amazing career at Alice Lloyd College-
o Career batting average .351
o 2012 honorable mention All-American
o 2nd team all-conference in 2012, 2013, 2014
#13 Clark Rice- class of 2013 C
♦ During Clark’s career his class won 93 games- including 2 district titles and 2 region championships and 2 state tournament appearance/ Clark also got to dress on the 08 team that made a run all the way to the state championship game
♦ Clark was able to crack the starting lineup in multiple spots being a utility guy in 2009 and 2010 before winning the catchers spot in 2011 throughout the remainder of his career
♦ After HS career, he earned a scholarship to play at Rio Grande University
♦ Clark earned an associates degree in Industrial Maintenance from BCTC and is currently employed as a millwright

#7 Brandon Stevens- class of 2013 1B/P
♦ During Brandon’s career his class won 93 games- including 2 district titles and 1 region championship and 1 state tournament appearance
♦ Brandon is the epitome of what hard work and persistence can do for a person
♦ He worked tirelessly to shape himself into one of the best pitchers in the entire area by his senior year- posting an 8-3 record / 1.76 ERA / over 63 innings pitched
♦ Upon graduation Brandon earned a scholarship to play at Rio Grande University
o Posted a career ERA at Rio of 3.91 including a conference title in 2015
o Brandon received his associates degree in Industrial automation and received a job offer with GE- where he currently works as an engineer for GE Aviation
♦ Brandon has worked one year as an assistant coach for Jackson (OH) HS baseball and is currently coaching softball with his wife Alex
♦ He and his wife have been youth leaders, Kids Pastors and worship team members at his home church
