October 13, 2022, Louisa, KY — The Lawrence County Middle School Football team finished their regular season with a dominating performance over Boyd County on Thursday.
A running clock in the first quarter allowed for several reserves to get well deserved playing time.
Scoring touchdowns for Lawrence County were Kaden Johnson, Carlo Chicko, Brandon Barrett, Gray Derifield, and Mitchell Frazier. The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a record of 11-1.
This season the Bulldogs 1st team outscored their opponents 250-36. Despite defeating Bourbon County in the first round, Clarke Moore’s Middle School football team decided the second-round trip to Louisa wasn’t in their best interest. Lawrence county will now play the winner of Lexington Catholic and Madison Middle School for the regional championship on 10/29/22. The game will be held at Lexington Catholic.
