Lancaster, Ky. — Lawrence County moved to 2-0 with an impressive neutral site 42-6 victory over Lincoln County on Friday in the Golden Lion Bowl at Garrard County High School.

After forcing a Patriot punt on their first possession it only took the Bulldogs five plays to score as Caven Williams crossed the goal line from 2 yards out and Issac Febish tacked on the PAT for a 7-0 lead with 8:18 left in the first quarter.
After forcing a turnover on downs QB Kaden Johnson went 63 yards to the house on the first play of the drive and Febish tacked on the PAT for a 14-0 lead with 2:45 left in the first quarter.
As time expired in the first quarter Johnson scored his second touchdown of the night on a nifty 52 yard touchdown and Febish made it 21-0 with the point after.
Williams scored his second TD of the game this time from 14 yards out to make it 27-0 after the PAT was unsuccessful with 3:29 left in the first half.
Caven Williams had over 100 yards rushing in the Golden Lion Bowl on Friday.
Kolton McDowell picked off a pass at the two yard line and two plays later Gray Derifield went untouched for a 90 yard touchdown and Johnson went for the two point conversion to make it 35-0 Bulldogs with :34 seconds on the first half clock and also put the running clock in effect the rest of the game.
Tucker Foster connected with Trey Burkhardt for a 8 yard touchdown to make it 35-6 with 9:01 left in the game on a running clock.
Levi Hensley scored from 3 yards out and then converted the PAT to set the final score of 42-6.
The Dawgs ( 2-0 ) will stay on the road next Friday night with a short trip to Ashland ( 2-0 ).
Lincoln Co. ( 1-1 ) will host West Jessamine ( 2-0 ) next Friday night.
