The Lawrence County Sheriff Department and Cash Express of Louisa have announced that they are joining forces by combining together their annual coat and toy drive for children

They will be accepting toys, coats, shoes, (washable), clothing, and non-perishable food items in drop-off locations in the area.
They are asking that donations be received by December 15, in order to have them delivered in time for Christmas.
They are also asking the schools to help with the project, and they will provide a pizza party to the class that collects the most donations. The principal of each school decides the winning class and pizza will be provided on the last day of school before the Christmas break
