County School District to accept and implement the KEDC GEAR UP: Project ELEVATE Partnership Grant
(U.S. Department of Education’s Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs),
effective October 16, 2025 through June 30, 2032
5.G. Approve the proposal and funding for Registered Apprenticeships, public affairs apprenticeships,
for the LCHS ABA2 Program (Apprenticeship Building America, Round 2 Grant)
5.H. Approve the Data Sharing Agreement between Lawrence County Schools and Accelerate Learning,
Inc., as part of the district’s selection for the Math Nation Middle Pilot funded by the Kentucky General
Assembly, pending approval by Board Counsel
5.I. Approve a partnership with Supplies Over Seas (SOS) Education Program to support grant needs of
the KDE CTE Innovation and Support Grant awarded to the high school
5.J. Discuss/Approve 2025-2026 Phase Two of the Comprehensive District Improvement Plan (CDIP)
process to include District Assurances and District Needs Assessment
5.K. Approve to accept FY2026 KETS First Offer of Assistance for Education Technology from the School
Facilities Construction Commission in the total amount of $24,218, with equal match by the district
5.L. Approve to adopt the PARTICIPATION RESOLUTION, as stated, with the Kentucky Interlocal School
Transportation Association (KISTA) authorizing the execution of an equipment lease and security
agreement for two (2) school buses
5.M. Approve to acknowledge receiving notification of the amendment to a Shortened School Day and
Week Waiver to increase time at school for a special needs student (previously approved July 21, 2025)
and to approve a Shortened School Day Waiver for an additional special needs student
