Louisville, Ky. — The Lawrence County Babe Ruth 10U All-Stars went 3-2 in the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament held at Fern Creek Park this past weekend.

In the first game of pool play on Thursday the LC All-Stars beat Pikeville 5-4.
In the second game of pool play later that day it was Lawrence County beating host Fern Creek 4-3.
The Bulldogs finished 2-0 in pool play and ended up as the #3 seed in the 12 team double elimination tournament.
In the first game of the tournament on Friday they beat #11 seed Pikeville 10-5.
On Saturday the All-Stars faced #2 seeded Letcher County and led 1-0 before falling 5-1.
Later in the day on Saturday Lawrence County was eliminated by Johnson County 7-2.

“…This was an amazing group of girls to coach. They have such a short period of time between the end of rec league season to all stars to get acquainted as a team, and they came together so well, especially in Louisville.”
