LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST – DECEMBER 16-23, 2019

In the past 7 & 1/4 day period from 12:01 A.M. December 16, 2019 thru to 6:00 A.M. December 23, 2019, there were at least 63 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 63, 15 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.
Two Lawrence County residents were taken into custody in Johnson County.
That is in comparison to the previous past 7 day period from 12:01 A.M. December 9, 2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. December 15, 2019, there were at least 63 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 63, five of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Also, one Lawrence County resident was taken into custody in Martin County
The number of inmates that were lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville as of 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2019, was 204 (at the highest point Saturday morning December 21, was at 216).
The names and criminal charges of those latest fifteen arrested in Lawrence County, along with the two Lawrence County residents arrested in Johnson County, are the following:
Lashae N. Hudnall, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on December 17, 2019, at 10:37 A.M., by Chief Greg Fugitt, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $10,000 OR MORE BUT UNDER $1,000,000 (FIVE SEPARATE COUNTS).
Brett M. Thomas, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on December 18, 2019, at 12:33 P.M., by court security officer Rodney Lycans, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• THEFT OF IDENTITY OF ANOTHER WITHOUT/OFFICIAL CONSENT,
• FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD AFTER REPORT LOST/STOLEN $500 < $10,000 WITHIN/6 MONTHS.
Tiffany Blankenship-Chafin, 24, of Louisa, was arrested on December 18, 2019, at 12:33 P.M., by court security officer Melody Salyers, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, & was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• THEFT OF IDENTITY OF ANOTHER WITHOUT/OFFICIAL CONSENT,
• FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD AFTER REPORT LOST/STOLEN $500 < $10,000 WITHIN/6 MONTHS.
Cody Blankenship, 24, of Louisa, was arrested on December 18, 2019, at 12:43 P.M.,by court security officer Charlie Curnutte, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,& was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• THEFT OF IDENTITY OF ANOTHER WITHOUT/OFFICIAL CONSENT,
• FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARD AFTER REPORT LOST/STOLEN $500 < $10,000 WITHIN/6 MONTHS.
Maurice R. Dowell, 55, of Russell, Kentucky; was arrested on December 18, 2019, at 11:17 P.M., by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:
• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,
Martin D. Fields, 37, of Louisa, was arrested on December 20, 2019, at 12:27 A.M.,by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
Clyde E. Pack, 26, of Fort Way, West Virginia, was arrested on December 20 ,2019 ,at 10:23 P.M.,by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, & was charged with:
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).
Roger J. Hylton, 65, of Louisa, was arrested on December 20, 2019, at 11:36 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 4TH OR > OFFENSE,
• CARELESS DRIVING,
• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,
• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD.
Justin Fitzpatrick, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on December 21, 2019, at 12:16 P.M.,by patrolman officer Julius Musick, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
Shanna Newsome, 25, of Louisa, was arrested on December 21, 2019, at 6:06 P.M.,by patrolman officer Teddie E. Newsome, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
• FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Harm R. Lemaster, 40, of Louisa, turned himself in and was taken into custody on December 20,2019, at 12:27 A.M.,by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, to be booked on a guilty plea jail sentence “(weekender)”:
• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Sandra Ray Jackson, 42, of Louisa, was arrested on December 23, 2019, at 5:07 A.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE – DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
Carl Lee Cook, 38, of Louisa was arrested on December 23, 2019, at 5:17 A.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:
• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE DATING VIOLENCE (MINOR INJURY),
• FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.

Michael Woods, 48, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County on December 16, 2019, at 2:17 P.M., by officer Bill Ramey,of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:
• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.
Vina W. McCormick, 53, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County on December 17, 2019, at 6:53 P.M., by officer Zach Stapleton, of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:
• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
• RECKLESS DRIVING,
• INADEQUATE SILENCER (MUFFLER).
