Louisa, Ky. — It’s Halloween and the Bulldogs will be traveling to Boyd County on a five game winning streak in the final regular season game of the year. 

2025 Bulldog Seniors 

Luke Fetherolf, Brady Nelson, Braxton Davis, Brayden Queen, Aiden Patton 

Lawrence County improved to 8-1 and 4-0 in District play with the Senior night victory over Magoffin County last week 55-12 to wrap up a District Championship. 

The General, Senior Luke Fetherolf, was 7 of 11 for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the offense. He also rushed 4 times for 69 yards and a touchdown. Gray Derifield was 1 of 1 passing for 29 yards  and a touchdown. And caught 2 passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. 

Kaden Johnson caught 2 passes for 49 yards, Carlo Chicko had 2 receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown, Senior Braxton Davis 2 catches 21 yards and a TD. 

Kaden Johnson rushed for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns, Darren Brewer 2 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown, Chandler Preece 5 carries for 32 yards, Cavin Williams 2 for 32 yards, Mitchell Frazier 4 rushes for 12 yards, Andrew Ratcliff 1 carry for 12 yards, Carlo Chicko rushed 2 times for 11 yards and a TD, Brennan Blankenship 1 carry for 8 yards, Jameson Ison 1 carry for 5 yards, Braylen Stumbo 1 rush for 3 yards. 

It was another great game by the defense that was led by Carlo Chicko with 13 tackles and 1 interception, Cameron Castle had 10 tackles, Senior Aiden Patton had 8 tackles, Andrew Ratcliffe had 8 tackles and a QB sack, Kaden Johnson 7 tackles and 1 interception, Brennan Blankenship and Colbie Prince 4 tackles each, Chandler Preece 3 tackles, Colton McDowell, Gray Derifield, Bryson Carter and Channing Kitts had 2 tackles each, Ty Brooks, Jameson Ison, Brady Nelson, Darren Brewer, Eddie Chicko, Senior Braxton Davis, Grant Cochran, Alex LeFlesh, Senior Brayden Queen and Braylen Stumbo had 1 tackle each. 

Boyd County is 6-3 on the season after a 35-14 victory over Rowan County last week. 

QB Jace Manning was 12 of 16 passing for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory.

Kaleb Kelley caught 5 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown, Cameron May caught 3 passes for 51 yards and a TD, Connor Davis 2 receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. 

James McDaniels was the leading rusher with 43 yards, Cayden Butler and Blake Sexton had rushing touchdowns. 

The Dawgs will open the playoffs next Friday night at home against McCreary Central. 

The Lions will travel to Covington Catholic the same night.
