Langley, Ky. — Floyd Central ( 14-3 ) clinched the number one seed in the upcoming girls 58th District tournament with a 69-60 home victory over Lawrence Co. ( 10-9 ) Monday night.

Kensley Feltner scorched the nets for 40 points but it wasn’t enough as the Jaguars beat the Bulldogs for the second time at home. This game was moved from Louisa because of the ice storm that hit Lawrence Co. last week. Sophie Adkins hit 3 three pointers and finished with 9 points, Ellie Webb 5 points, Kaison Ward 4 points and Kyleah Ward chipped in with 2 points.
Lawrence Co. hit 5 three pointers and went 9 of 13 from the foul line.
Floyd Central was led by Katie Jo Moore with 27 points, Kennedy Harvel hit 5 three pointers and finished with 21 points, Kamryn Shannon 14 points, Grace Martin 5 points and Jada Johnson 2 points.
The Jaguars hit 7 three pointers and went 16 of 21 from the line.

Kensley Feltner scored 27 points to help the Bulldogs to a 58th District road victory over the Bobcats, Kyleah and Kaison Ward scored 12 points each, Ellie Webb tallied 9 points, Emmallee Holt 5 points, Sophie Adkins and Tyra Hammonds 2 points each.
Lawrence Co. hit 6 three pointers and went 13 of 15 from the foul line.
Betsy Layne ( 6-11 ) was led by Madi Meade with 17 points, Katie Kidd 12 points and Kim Akers 8 points.
The Bobcats hit 3 three pointers and went 8 of 11 from the foul line.

Johnson Central hit 15 three pointers and improved to 11-2 with the home victory over Lawrence Co.
Kensley Feltner lead the Dawgs with 20 points, Sophie Adkins hit 3 three pointers and finished with 11 points, Ellie Webb hit 2 three pointers for her 6 points, Tyra Hammond scored 3 points and Kaison Ward chipped in with 2 points.

Johnson Central was led by Clara Blair who hit 7 three pointers and finished with 21 points, Taylor McKenzie scored 14 and Kelci Blair tallied 12 points.
The Golden Eagles went 6 of 10 from the foul line and hit 15 three pointers.
