Lawrence Co. Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“…Obviously very pleased for our players and coaches.  I felt like tonight was the best game we have played to date. We were physical and played with great urgency. Offensively Luke was super sharp and made several plays off schedule. I feel like tonight our offensive line played its best game as well. When we play like that we will be hard to beat.”

“… We were humbled last week. Boyd County beat us in every area of the game. This week our coaching staff challenged our team to be more physical and our team responded. Very proud of the week of practice we had. Tonight’s result was a direct reflection of the week of practice we had.”

“… Hard to believe that this was our 10th game with this team. I feel like we are in a great place heading into the playoffs. Tonight was a quality win for our football team. Mason County was very big and athletic. We will enjoy this one tonight and turn our focus to Clay County on Sunday. We are looking forward to playing the game next Friday at home.”
