Louisa, Ky. — Lawrence Co. ( 26-6 ) ended the regular season with a 7-4 victory over Johnson Central ( 19-13 ) on Thursday evening.
The Dawgs overcame an early two run deficit to beat the Golden Eagles for the second time this season.

Dani Crum had three hits and scored two runs, Shelby Blevins had two hits and drove in three runs, Bree Jones had two hits, one RBI and scored once, Kensley Feltner had two hits and scored three times, Abby Nelson doubled, scored a run and drove in one, Ella Fitzpatrick singled and drove in a run, Gracie Preece singled.
Allie Triplett went the distance in the circle to pick up the win.

The Dawgs will open up the 58th District tournament on Monday at Floyd Central versus Betsy Layne.
Floyd Central ( 13-16 ) will face Prestonsburg ( 6-15 ) in the second game Monday night.
The championship game is slated for Wednesday at 6:00.
