COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Friday night was definitely one of the wildest finishes that I have ever been apart of. We preach to our kids everyday to never stop fighting and scrapping. Last night was certainly one that they got rewarded for never giving up. Hayden Perry and Will Lafferty hit huge shots in the final 15 seconds, and even though those shots ultimately sealed the game – I’m so proud of our entire team for battling for 32 minutes. It was a collective effort for 4 quarters that gave ourselves a chance to win it in the end. Words can’t explain how proud I am of this group, but we aren’t satisfied. We will take Saturday off, have a light practice after church on Sunday, then host East Carter on Monday!”
