COACH’S COMMENTS
“…We are happy that we are progressing as a team, we have had a good home stand after only playing three of our first eleven at home. We played a bunch of upper class teams to start the season and now we are starting to find ourselves a little bit.”
“…Our calling card has to be our defense, we extended the press a little bit tonight and forced some turnovers. I think that wore them down some. We got a good lead at halftime with some key execution late in the second quarter. Made some mistakes toward the end but I’m really proud of the girls, it was a total team effort.”
“…Wanna give a shoutout to Jake Arbaugh who is a former assistant came in said that our rebounding on both ends of the floor was the best that he has seen. Always love getting feedback from him. We are under sized but love the effort night and night out. We play Chesapeake this weekend for a great cause at Wayne in the Steele Strong Classic. Really looking forward to that.”
