COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We didn’t play our best, just didn’t have much of an edge tonight. Not sure if they thought just come up without much effort and win. Pike Central scoring in the first helped us refocus and we bounced right back with three runs.”
“… Usually when we play well the games are close together and this layoff hurt a little. We have put all of the work in this past fall, winter, spring and played all these games to get to this point all the matters now in the 15th Region Championship game on Saturday.”
“… We have been twice to the State tourney but haven’t been since 2010 and eight years is a long time. I want this for the kids it’s a great experience and something they can never take away. I’m looking forward to the opportunity.”
