WILDCAT WOMEN: ASHLEY NICOLE BOWENS.
A Johnson County, Kentucky woman was arrested after the Louisa Police Department responded to a disturbance at the Bird Hayes Apartments early Tuesday morning, August 4.
According to the arrest citation, Ashley Nicole Bowens, 36, of Paintsville, KY., allegedly entered an apartment through a window, assaulted a resident, and caused property damage inside the home. Officers reported she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and continued yelling after being detained.
Ashley Bowens was arrested by Louisa Police Departent patrolwoman Shelby Taylor, and was subsequently charged with the following:
• BURGLARY, 2ND DEGREE;
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 2ND DEGREE;
• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE.
Ashley Bowens was transported to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, where she remains being held at this time.
