Janet Lou (Lyons) Castle

1948 – 2016

Janet Lou (Lyons) Castle, 67, of Ulysses, KY, went to be with to be with the Lord Saturday, June 4, 2016 with Her family and friends surrounding her. 

Born October 14, 1948, She was the daughter of the late Homer and Edna Lyons; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph V. Lyons.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joe Castle; Son, Xander Michael Young Castle; stepson, Joseph Castle; step daughter, Janie Young, step grandchildren, Seth and Katie Castle, Jaydan Patrick Brooks, Isaiah Young, Peyton Young, Makalie Young; her brothers, Homer L. (Sue) Lyons, & Roger D. (Christa) Lyons; and her sisters, Alice Jean (Francis) Rice, Wanda Sue (Paul) Keener, Sharon Kay (Kenny) Lyons and Deborah F. (Joel) Johnson; Sister-in-law, Kay Lyons; many nieces and nephews; special friend Cheryl Musick and a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Services will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Walnut Grove FWB Church with Rev. Jimmy Bevins, Rev. Seth Castle, and Rev. Joe Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery at Lowmansville, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Monday June 6th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday June 7th from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Walnut Grove FWB Church.
