Jacob Matthew Fletcher, age 18 of Inez, KY went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2022 at his home.
He was born on August 17, 2003 in Lexington, KY to Robbie L. Fletcher and Melissa Haney Fletcher. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Abigail Fletcher and brother Eli Fletcher both of Inez, maternal grandparents, John “AJ” and Mary Lou Haney, also of Inez, paternal grandparents, Robert “Cat” and Ellen “Faye” Fletcher of Lovely, KY, maternal uncle, John Haney of Charlotte, NC, paternal aunt, Barb (Rusty) Jude and their son, Dawson of Lovely, KY; along with a host of family members and special friends.
Jacob was a 2021 graduate of Lawrence County High School and completed his welders certificates at ACTC in 2021. He was employed by Ruggles Signs, Inc. of Versailles, KY. Jacob loved welding and baseball. He also loved helping others learn about the trade of welding. Jacob always had a servants heart and served food at the pantries, service projects through his church and wherever he was needed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Inez First Baptist Church at 99 West Main Street in Inez, KY with Samuel Schmidt and Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Saltwell Cemetery in Inez.
Friends may visit on Monday from 6:00-9:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Louisa on West Pike Street in Lousia, KY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Inez First Baptist Church, P.O.
