Louisa, Ky. — December 17, 2019 – The Louisa Police Department arrested Lashea Nicole Hudnall, 34, of Louisa following a 3 month investigation and a Lawrence County Grand Jury Indictment.
Mrs. Hudnall was charged with (5) five counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 but under $1,000,000 each a Class C Felony that carries 5-10 years sentence.
During the investigation it was discovered that Mrs. Hudnall during the course of time between 2014 to 2019 had stolen medical and office supplies from Three Rivers Medical Center where she was employed as supply manager.
Chief Greg Fugitt, who was investigating officer, stated that, “Mrs. Hudnall was selling items online and shipping them out from the hospital but the money was going to her personal Paypal account.
Between 2014 to 2019 Mrs. Hudnall received from $781,699.82 into her account from China and some American buyers.”
Mrs. Hudnall was transported to Big Sandy Regional Detention Center with a $10,000 cash bond.
Oh my call China they will bond you out.
Is this the same lady that was accused of theft from one of the banks?
Looks like the Injun tribe has spoken. Headed to the cross-bar teepee for a long time. She’ll be wearing striped buckskin and orange moccasins!
Great citizen
this is my kind of woman only down side she got caught
Ah heck, Why not turn her loose?
She is no diffrent than the city police that killed and threw the girl off FT. GAY bridge years ago. He was never charged with her death BUT EVERYONE KNOWS WHO DONE IT….
So let’s get this straight. Her crimes amounted to nearly one million dollars and she was indicted on 5 felony counts, yet her bond is set at $10,000? A family member of mine was jailed not long ago on one charge which was a class D felony that carries 1-5 years, and guess how much the bond was? That’s right, $10,000. Same judge, same kangaroo court. Now I don’t claim to be a legal scholar, and I do not defend my family member no more than I defend Mrs. Hudnall, but how can someone charged with this level of crime that netted this amount of money get the same bond as someone charged with one single victimless crime of a lower degree? She’s probably already bonded out from the money she made from her crime. Unbelievable!
Very well said, and true.
All I have to say is, Three Rivers will sue you for a $200 bill that is past due so she better have the whole dang book thrown at her!
What did she steal? A couple of aspirin and bedpan?
No money for Louisa again?
Might be a lesson not to brag on social media about all the things you have that everyone knows you don’t make enough to pay for. LOL
I’m just wondering how this could go on for 5 years and no one discovered it. Really!!!!!!
Not judging, but, wondering how, during a 5 year period, none of this was found by the hospital.
I wonder the same thing. I’m thinking there’s someone else that helped her.
That Hudnall woman needs liposuction on her back! I’ll bet KAG does too. 🙂
Amazingly she was a supporter of the Sheriff. Not the first supporter arrested. Maybe he can help her out like he help some of his family get out of their theft charges.
Those Camaros are going to be traded in for a Ford Pinto. Wonder if she used her money for being an Indian to pay her bond? On a good note she can use her dress making skills to make her prison uniform fashionable.
Bet she get parole and maybe house arrest. That’s it.
why is it wrong to steel I do it every month when i get my SSI and stamps
I would almost bet she had help in pulling this off for 5 years.
Remember people INNOCENT until proven guilty!! Several peoples lives have been ruined by false accusations!! The media never runs a story if they are not convicted but that dont sell ads or copies !!
Well been around long enough to know without good information a Grand Jury wouldn’t vote to indict someone. Not to mention sounds like the police and TRMC did pretty investigation if the found the total they did. People need to wake up and take responsibility for their actions and others don’t need to take up for them. That shows Botha character.
It should have been found with an audit. I thought for sure, all depts did an audit on their inventory at least once a year.
