GOD’S FOOD PANTRY CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY
Louisa, KY, June 30, 2024 — God’s Food Pantry, a program of the Louisa/Ft. Gay Ministerial
Association, will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the holiday. The pantry will reopen Thursday, July 11
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Through God’s Food Pantry, more than 400 households receive food through government
commodities and locally donated food each month. Volunteers, churches, local businesses, school
groups, and more help make it possible to serve these families.
Need food assistance?
God’s Food Pantry is located at 97 Southland Drive open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (except
holidays). Services are provided monthly by household size to Lawrence County residents meeting
income guidelines. Please bring photo ID and proof of Lawrence County residence to receive
government commodities through The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
Want to help?
Volunteers to assist with unloading and stocking, as well ass packing and carrying boxes to cars are
welcome to arrive on Thursdays at 8 a.m.
Donations of staple food items may be brought to God’s Food Pantry on Thursdays until 2 p.m.
