Louisa Head Start to host Open House for Interested Families – Friday, Feb 21st
Louisa Head Start will host an Open House, Friday, February 21st, from 8-11AM. Families interested in learning more about Head Start’s free preschool program are invited to explore classrooms, meet teachers, and submit applications for the 2020-21 school year. The Louisa Head Start center is located at 305 E. Franklin St – just around the corner from Riverview Clinic. All are invited to attend.

Head Start is a FREE preschool program that promotes school readiness by supporting the social, emotional, physical, and mental development of children, and providing resources to help parents and families reach their goals. All 3 and 4 year-old children are eligible to apply.
The Louisa Head Start center is an intimate, family-style setting designed to gently ease each child into the structured learning environment awaiting them in the public school system. Louisa Head Start is a nurturing and positive space, with a staff focused on facilitating growth, sparking curiosity, and building a love of learning.
