ASHLAND, Ky. – Rikki Staniford, a graduate of Lawrence County High School, is the 2022 recipient of the Kitchen Good Will Scholarship and the Oren and Patty Justice Scholarship. She is the daughter of Rick and Darlene Staniford and plans to attend Morehead State University.
Thomas Bryce Blevins, a graduate of Lawrence County High School, is the 2022 recipient of the Ward and Irene Patton Outstanding Graduate Award. He is the son of Thomas Benjamin and Beth Renee Blevins and plans to attend Marshall University.
These scholarships are 3 of the 49 scholarships and awards, totaling $53,027, that have been presented in 2022 to young men and women from funds at the Foundation for the Tri-State Community, Inc., according to Foundation CEO Mary Witten Wiseman.
“The organizations and individuals that provided the funds for these scholarships make it possible for these talented students to pursue their dreams and goals,” Wiseman said. “These scholarships help offset the cost of college and other continuing education.”
