Morehead, Ky. — Former Lawrence Co. baseball star and current Morehead St. sophomore standout Jackson Feltner made 1st team All-Ohio Valley Conference this past season.
Feltner started 54 games this past season and hit .393 with 16 home runs, 17 doubles, 1 triple and drove in 51 runs.
His Freshman season he started in 42 games and hit .390 with 11 home runs, 10 doubles and drove in 42 runs.
Feltner is playing summer baseball in Southern West Virginia in the Appalachian League for the Bluefield Ridge Runners and was recently named league player of the week.

“… People had a much better scouting report on me this year than last year. I spent time with my coaches in the off-season working on my weak points in preparation for that. As the season went on I had to make some in-game adjustments to my plan at the plate. My coaches always helped with that.
