COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Well deserved honor for Dylan. It has been a joy to coach him over the last four years. He has been a great team player and has been one of the hardest working kids we have coached. Dylan is a naturally gifted football player and I am certain he will play football at the collegiate level, be it NAIA, DII, or DIII. Some school, is going to get a heck of a football player, but an even better human being. We are proud of what Dylan and our team were able to accomplish this year. He along with others, will certainly be missed.”
“… What an honor for our program, to be named District Coach of the Year. It is a humbling feeling and I am honored. This award is a TEAM award. We have been blessed over the last several years to have really good players. This award reflects and represents all of them. We don’t take things like this for granted. District Championships are hard to come by. I am extremely proud of our team for their efforts this fall. We were able to accomplish something that hasn’t been done here since 2009. Our team earned it this fall. Very proud and humbled. We are going to miss 13 seniors off of this years team, but certainly look forward to coaching the guys we have coming back, as well as the players coming up from our middle school. The future is bright!”
