COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Another great week for our girls. I’m very proud of our how girls played on the road and in tough environments this week. It’s always a battle when we play Floyd Central. We started the game off strong and that’s what we knew we had to do. They cut into our lead in the 3rd quarter but we were able to hold them off and had a run of our own. I was very proud of how we finished the game.”
“… Friday night at Prestonsburg we got off to a terrible start. Credit them for making things rough on us. We were finally able to get things going and went into the half with a 20 point lead. We just kept building from there. Our girls finished strong and got another district win.”
“… This next week is going to be a tough one as we host Pikeville on Tuesday, go to Morgan county on Wednesday and then finish up district play on Friday at Betsy Layne.”
