The Lawrence County Public Library had a Board of Trustees Meeting, 102 West Main Street, Louisa, Kentucky on Monday May 12, 2025 at Noon. LCPL Director Deena Meade was in attendance along with the Trustees Susie Chambers, Kim Burchett, Lindsay Smith, Connie Fairchild and Lynn Perry.
APPROVE MINUTES FOR APRIL 2025
The Board approved the April 2025 Minutes unanimously with a Motion by Lynn Perry seconded by Connie Fairchild.
APPROVE FINANCIALS FOR MARCH 2025
The Board approved the March 2025 Financials unanimously with a Motion by Connie Fairchild seconded by Lynn Perry.
NEW MEMBER
Board President Lindsay Smith introduced Connie Fairchild as the newest Trustee to the Library Board appointed by the LC Fiscal Court and Judge Executive Phillip Carter as well as the KDLA (Kentucky Department of Library Archives). Carter has now appointed three of the five Trustees on the five person board.

BLUE CALL?
Blue Call is a Louisa based IT and Tech company that specializes in Ransomware and Cyber Security. They were here to answer questions on how they could improve the library computer system. Eric Cline is the owner of Blue Call.
The director will decide between Blue Call and Digit 3 Tech Company, which presented to the board last month, and owned by Brad and Wendy Goodenough, Huntington, W.Va.
No public mention of the prices for each company were discussed.
