Facing Hunger Foodbank Hosts a Mobile Distribution in Lawrence County, KY

Lawrence Co., KY – Facing Hunger Foodbank is making a difference in the lives of the communities they serve by hosting a drive-thru mobile food distribution in Louisa, KY at Louisa Freewill Baptist Church (62 Southside Loop Rd., Louisa, KY) on Monday, January 12th.

Members of Facing Hunger Foodbank and volunteers will distribute meat, produce, dry goods, and other nutritious items beginning at 11am and will continue until 12pm or until the product is gone; Facing Hunger looks to serve over 200 households, on a first come, first served basis. 20% of Lawrence County’s population lives with food insecurity, including 24% of the county’s children.
